Your Business
Took the Hit.
Your Policy
Should Cover It.
BUSINESS OWNERS
Commercial property claims are more complex and more thoroughly evaluated than residential claims. The stakes are higher, the policy language is more technical, and the documentation requirements are more demanding.
That is exactly the kind of claim I handle. You do not need a denial to call. I can help from the moment the loss occurs, including advising you on how to report it correctly and protect your rights from the start.
WHO IS THIS FOR
Any Florida business owner whose commercial property claim has been denied, underpaid, or is not moving forward.
Commercial property policies are more complex than residential policies. They involve coverage layers for the building structure, business personal property, equipment, inventory, and in many cases business interruption coverage for lost income during a shutdown. Each layer has its own documentation requirements, deadlines, and potential dispute points.

I represent Florida business owners, landlords, and commercial property owners in disputes with their commercial insurers. Office buildings, retail centers, restaurants, warehouses, multi-family properties, industrial facilities, and more. If the property is in Florida and the policy is not being honored, I want to hear from you.
You do not need a denial to call. Whether your claim has not been filed yet, is under review, has been denied, or settled for less than it should have been, reach out. I can step in at any stage.

WHY BUSINESS OWNERS NEED AN ATTORNEY
Commercial claims require a different level of representation.
01
Commercial policies are more complex.
Commercial property policies involve multiple coverage layers, endorsements, exclusions, and valuation methodologies that do not exist in residential policies. The adjustment process for a large commercial loss involves engineers, forensic accountants, specialized contractors, and in many cases multiple adjusters each responsible for a different aspect of the claim.
Navigating that process without legal representation means navigating it without someone whose job is to make sure every coverage layer is properly pursued and every documentation requirement is met. I fill that role from the first notice of loss through final resolution.
"Commercial claims are not just bigger residential claims. They are fundamentally different in how they are evaluated, documented, and resolved. That difference matters."
02
If your policy includes business interruption coverage, a property loss may entitle you to more than just the repair cost.
Business interruption coverage pays for lost income and ongoing expenses when a covered property loss forces a business to shut down. Many insurers dispute the length of the interruption and the amount of lost income. These claims often require forensic accounting and legal analysis to properly document and pursue the full loss.
"If your commercial policy includes business interruption coverage, a property damage event that shut down or slowed your operations may entitle you to compensation for lost income and continuing expenses during the repair period. That coverage is worth pursuing."
03
The best time to call is before the first estimate is written.
For commercial losses the documentation process that happens in the first days after a loss often determines the outcome of the entire claim. Getting me involved before the insurer's adjuster writes the first estimate means I can be part of establishing the scope of the loss rather than fighting a scope that has already been locked in.
This is especially important for commercial losses where business interruption, equipment replacement, inventory loss, and structural damage all need to be documented simultaneously and in a way that supports the full value of the claim.
"You can call before you file. Getting the right people involved before positions are established is one of the most valuable things a business owner can do after a property loss."
04
A denial or low offer is not the end of the process.
Commercial insurers frequently issue low initial offers on large losses, knowing that the settlement process involves negotiation and that many business owners will accept an early number to move on. A denial or a low settlement offer is an opening position, not a final number, and both can be evaluated and challenged with the right legal analysis and documentation.
I review every denial and every settlement offer against the commercial policy language, the documented scope of loss, and Florida law. Where the insurer's position does not hold up I pursue the full recovery through negotiation, appraisal, or litigation.
"I can help evaluate whether a denial was proper and let you know your options if it is not. For large commercial losses that analysis alone is frequently worth the call."
05
No fees unless I recover for you.
I work on contingency. You pay nothing upfront and nothing at all unless I recover money on your claim. There is no financial risk in calling me. The only risk is not calling and accepting a settlement that does not cover what your policy actually entitles you to.
This also means my incentives are completely aligned with yours. I only win when you win. There is no scenario where it benefits me to settle for less than what your claim is actually worth.
My fees come from the recovery. If there is no recovery there is no fee. My incentives are completely aligned with yours from the first call to the final resolution.
What type of loss does your business have?
WHAT I HANDLE FOR BUSINESS OWNERS
Commercial property losses can involve the building structure, business personal property, equipment, inventory, and business interruption income all under a single policy or across multiple coverage layers. I handle every type of claim a Florida business owner may face. This is not an exhaustive list. If the property sustains damages during the policy period, it is worth a call.
Hurricane & Wind
Structural damage, roof systems, equipment loss, and business interruption from storm events. Florida's most common commercial loss category.
Water Damage
Plumbing failures, roof leaks, sprinkler system events, and water intrusion affecting the building, inventory, and equipment.
Flood Damage
Separate flood policies with strict deadlines and documentation requirements. Business interruption coverage may apply alongside the property loss.
Fire & Smoke
Structural damage, smoke infiltration, equipment and inventory loss, and business interruption income during the full repair and restoration period.
Mold Damage
Mold resulting from a covered water event, building envelope failure, or HVAC system issues. Causation determines coverage eligibility.
